Materials List
- Garden Gallery Pressed Flowers, Fruits, Foliage or Vegetables
- Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss
- Piñata Ink
- Duo Embellishing Adhesive
- Texture Sponge
- Gildenglitz Gilding Leaf
- Foil-It Tape
- Boxwood Tool
- Four-Inch Glass Squares
- Fine Grain Sandpaper
- Floral Napkins
Directions
- Lightly sand the sides of the glass squares to remove sharp edges.
- Choose napkins with floral design and cut out appropriate sections. Remove backing from cutouts, leaving just the top layer of the napkin cutout.
- Apply napkin cutouts and/or Garden Gallery Dried Flowers or Fruits to the back of the top glass square with Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss and a paintbrush (figure A). Remember to remove the excess layers of napkin.
- Cover the front side of the back glass square with Duo Embellishing Adhesive and allow adhesive to become tacky.
- Apply pieces of Gildenglitz - Gold to the tacky adhesive and burnish it with a Textured Sponge. Don't cover the entire piece of glass; it won't matter that there is exposed adhesive.
- Apply Piñata Ink to the tacky side of the glass square to fill in remainder of the uncovered surface (figure B).
- Adhere the treated top piece of glass to the treated bottom piece using Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss (figure C).
- Edge the stacked and glued glass "sandwich" with Foil-It tape (figure D).
- Use a Boxwood Tool to burnish tape to the glass (figure E).
