Materials List
- Design-A-Border Blank Wallpaper Border
- Neopaque (or Lumiere) Paint
- Paintbrushes
- Webbing Spray
- Permanent Marker
- Scissors
- Rubber Stamps
Directions
- Roll out a section of Design-A-Border and have your paint colors ready. Apply Neopaque paint in any fashion you choose (figure A). Create even more interesting combinations by allowing one color to dry, then painting over it.
- Next, use the permanent marker to draw letters over the design (figure B). Using a Webbing Spray here for additional drama.
- Cut each letter out.
- On a new strip of Design-A-Border, paint a line close to the edges (figure C) . Allow to dry.
- Embellish the border with rubber stamps and paint (figure D).
- Peel the back off of each letter and apply to the border. Press flat. Peel the back off of the finished border and apply to any number of surfaces, such as the wall, a lampshade, a trash can, a picture frame--even a light switch.
