- Garden Gallery Pressed Flowers, Fruits, Foliage or Vegetables
- Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss
- Texture Sponge
- Green Rattan or Bamboo
- Wireworks Wire
- Small Brass Eyelets
- Hole Punch
Directions
- Break Mica Tile (figure A) into four similarly sized pieces, or separate one piece into four layers.
- Punch four holes, one in each corner, in each piece with a standard hole punch.
- Use hammer and awl to beat a brass grommet into each of the four holes (figures B and C). Repeat for each piece.
- Use Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss to collage Garden Gallery Pressed Flowers to each piece of Mica and allow to dry (figure D).
- On each piece, apply another layer of Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss with a Texture Sponge in a pouncing motion then sprinkle on gold Mica Flakes (figures E and F).
- Cut four Bamboo Sticks to the length of the Mica pieces. Coat the sticks lightly with gold paint.
- Twist WireWorks - Copper around each stick, creating loops on the end (figure G).
- Squeeze these loops to fit through the holes in the Mica pieces then expand them so that they anchor the Mica to the stick (figure H).
- Wire the pieces together to form the sides of the luminary. Place over a clear candleholder and light the candle for a beautiful light sheltered from the wind.
