Materials List
- Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss
- Garden Gallery Pressed Fruits, Flowers & Leaves
- Gildenglitz - Gold
- Duo Embellishing Adhesive
- Texture Sponge
- Small Paintbrush
- Solvent-based nonporous ink
- Stamps
- Clear glass plate
- Acrylic-based paint
Note: All the work will be done on the back of the plate, so the plate can be used to for serving foods.
Directions
- Clean the plate thoroughly.
- With a small paintbrush, liberally apply Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss to a small area on the back of the plate, add a Garden Gallery Pressed Flower, then apply more gloss over the flower (figure A).
- Use stamps and solvent-based nonporous ink to add further designs and interest (figure B).
- After the Perfect Paper Adhesive has dried and becomes clear, apply a generous amount of Duo Embellishing Adhesive over the designs.
- Apply Gildenglitz to the tacky surface. Brush away excess using a Texture Sponge (figure C).
- To make the plate hand-washable, simply paint over the gilding with an acrylic-based paint.
