Materials List
- Perfect fx Mica Embossing Tiles
- Perfect Paper Adhesive - Gloss
- Pearl Ex - various complimentary colors
- Neopaque - Black
- Paintbrushes
- Art Paper
- Table
- Masking tape
- Solvent-based ink and ink pads
- Giraffe print stamps
- Craft knife
- Scissors
- Small cutting board to work on
- Pencil
- Ruler
Directions
- Paint the base and legs of the table using Neopaque - Black or any other desired color.
- Apply art paper trim around the base of table with Perfect Paper Adhesive (figure A).
- Mask off the top of the table with masking tape.
- Use ink and stamp to stamp design on pieces of Perfect fx Mica Embossing Tiles (a giraffe-spot design was used on this table).
- Mix Pearl Ex with Perfect Paper Adhesive so that you get an acrylic paint/adhesive.
- Brush Pearl Ex/Perfect Paper Adhesive mixture onto the center of the table and apply pieces of mica tile with the stamped design (figure B).
- Stamp a giraffe on a piece of white art paper and tear out. Use Perfect Paper Adhesive and brush to apply giraffes on the border of the table (figure C). You might also want to glue other attractive art-paper pieces to border.
- Remove masking tape and use Perfect Paper Adhesive to apply art-paper trim between the border and the center of the table.
